Yeah Maaan!!..I'm with you on that one. I always felt a thing for those Gretch guitars and never ever got one coz I kind of feel like I love them but they're not me or sth../?..Dunno,,,weird kind of thinking...
But the one I'd love to have is this one!! Oh yeah baby,..

Oh, yeah, there's also the all rosewood Jazzmaster for $7200 that I'll never own.

Funny this thread should start... I'm looking at how to finance a Ruby Red Rickenbacker 360. Which I will never own. Ha ha.

My gigs funded my gear, which I needed to play gigs. Now I really can't justify buying any more gear, except as stuff dies.

I own 2 that I have no real justification for buying, as mediocre of player as I am.

Fender Custom shop.......anything to be honest. I would love either a Strat, Tele or Jazzmaster, but can't justify £2000 and up for a guitar that will be played at home. I've got my AV65 Strat, and that is as far up the mark I will go in money terms.

Can"t really think of one except that $100K Martin they made this year with the clock gears and crap on it. When I bought my EJ it never entered my mind to "justify" my purchase. Wife and I looked at our accounts and what was upcoming this year and it was no problem so I bought it. I think the only justification you need is financial. If you can afford it and want it then get it. If you can't afford it without harming your family then don't get it. Simple as that.

I lust after just about every guitar that I don't already own but lately I have been thinning down to the ones that are really my faves. I love to look but I already have more than anyone who plays at my level should have..

I have been lusting after a Gibson or Heritage 335 for a while. But for me they are nose bleed priced. So my Epis will have to suffice.

What about all the guitars I already own?
    can really I justify them?

With all the nice Second hand stuff out there, I tend to play the justification game on a weekly basis.

I’ll have to go with the Gretsch White Falcon as well. Although seeing how my last guitar I bought was a Squier VM Jag, I just don’t ever see myself shelling out that kind of money for a guitar even if I had it to spare. Oh, who am I fooling, I’d buy two or three if I could.

I can't justify anything above an upper-end MIM Fender or Gibson Tribute. Basically, anything over a grand new....

ES-175, the ultimate (some have said) jazz box. But even used it's priced way out of my league :(.

I hear you. Me too. But what's okay is that you don't have to spend a grand to get a great sounding Fender.

    This one.
It's the Mazzaroth. A truly one of a kind build by a friend of mine, the owner of Dogwood Guitars. I was surprised he let me even be in the same room as it because my lack of talent could have broken its tone.

It doesn’t matter if you buy MIM or USA made, both support America. Fender workers in corona aren’t going to be laid off if you buy mims.
