where TOS has gone? I like it. It seems true to TOS with the essential updates of course. The crew interactions and character development over two seasons are definitely worthy of a modern day "Trek" series with nice doses of humour to sweeten it.

Do you watch? Do you care?

I've tried to get into it. Just can't I find it mildly amusing, at best. Mostly I've watched, and waited to be mildly amused.

While I know of what you write, I have no idea wtf "TOS" means...

And while I like Seth McFarlane very much, The Orville hasn't held my attention for more than the time it takes to hit the off button. Too bad too because I'd very much like it to succeed. Any "'F' You" directed at Hollywood executives, like he delivered at the Academy Awards a few years back , is worthy, very worthy.

But... It ain't no Family Guy or American Dad.

Have you seen Galaxy Quest? Orville kinda reminds me of that based on the clips I've seen. I thought it was great parody, Orville is it's own thing of course.

I’ve tried to watch it but it’s just not doing it for me. I do enjoy the Star Trek Discovery show very much. I can’t wait for Friday to arrive so I can watch the next episode.

Love it. Assumed it would be more comedic, but it actually reminds of old school Star Trek with just the right amount of humor.

The other Orville, first in flight. But not really. First in manned, powered, heavier than air flight. (Maby).

Even as a long-time Star Trek fan, I like The Orville. I like the stories & humor. And I think it's inspired more by The Next Generation than TOS. There things I've read that seemed to confirm that.
