So,what did we think of the team up of "Gotta clear" Morgan and Murder-jacket Rick? At least we finally got rid of Jared!
Rick finally made a rational decision LOL Neegan must have started listening to James Taylor though...
I'm still wondering why Jadis let Negan go... (ok, yeah, to keep the plot going, but still). I guess she had lost her stomach for killing (or never had it) and didn't know what else to do with him....
and yeah Jared was the biggest Douchecanoe that's been on the show for its entire run... glad he ate it... or got eaten I should say
I wondered the same thing. Perhaps she realized, or believes Negan really had nothing to do with killing off her post apocalyptic Addam's family. They actually shared a moment, then that damn helicopter thing sprung up also. I am sure the whole thing with those two will tie in later. How much later? who knows. Two more episodes left, so things should wind up or wind down another road till next season. Makes you wonder what the cliffhanger will be. It should be something other than something to do with the Saviors plot.
It kind of sounds like Negan and the saviors will kiss and make up with Rick and the gang They say the final episode will wrap everything up and everything will start from scratch next season. I'm sure Simon will bite the bullet but I don't think Dwight will. Even the cast says that's not the ending that they wanted. I watch FTWD too but Madison has to go. And the story lines on that show have been really bad. Hopefully things will look up with new characters and new writing.
Jadis and her people were never really hardened killers, per se. Sure, they played games on people with modded walkers and if someone died, they died. And I'm sure they killed a few Alexandrians when they turned on Rick, but their pattern, as soon as anything turn against them, was to cut and run. High on themselves when the odds were in their favor, cowards when they weren't.
My money is on the girl that found Duane out during the gunfight. The one where he shot some saviors, and got wounded in the shoulder. That means Duane gets told on. Negan has some house cleaning to do. It should get interesting. 2 more episodes, let the heads roll.
Could be Sherry, but I'm leaning towards Laura and Dwight got ratted out for his betrayal. And Negan now knows what Simon did, too. Like he said, he's got a whole lot of surprises to roll out.
Also, who's the hero now?? Rick and Morgan were just straight up murder machines. Rick's "word" means nothing and Negan has been humanized some the last few episodes. Who do I root for??
I actually kind of like the confusion. Vs The Governer, he was pretty much the bad guy. No doubt. Things are a bit murkier, not so black and white now. Negan isn't all bad and Rick is certainly not all good.
