Thanks that actually helps a ton..I'd being using as a set and forget it for sure.
No problem. I'd get a TR-2. If you get a used one make sure it's a newer model - the older ones suffer from volume drop. It's easy to fix, but if you don't mod pedals you could easily ruin it trying.
New ones don't have that problem.
I don't use tremolo often so I went with the Joyo. Pedal sounded good enough for my Heard it Through the Grapevine needs...until it crapped out mid-gig on me. Ended up getting the Boss as a replacement and again, sounds great for my needs with a bit more versatility than the Joyo.
Thanks everyone I think I might go with the Boss has anyone tried the Malekko by chance though?
Lottsa nice suggestions..
How about trems to avoid
Pedal that just ruin tone..
I like my BBE Tremor pedal, it pretty much duplicates the tremolo effect of a Fender Deluxe Reverb.
I recently got the Pipeline. I love it because it has a tap tempo and it's TonePrint enabled. Worth checking out.
I have never heard tremolo as good as my Garnet amp but if i was in need of a tremolo pedal Boss would be my pick
I'd get the Boss TR-2, I've abused one for years. Great, extremely close to Fender amp sounding Tremelo Pedal, and it will still be there with the cockroaches after a nuclear holocaust.
I have to agree with the TR2 but also put money on the line 6 M5.
The tremolos line 6 makes are AMAZING!!!!
Plus you get the chorueses, leslies, flange, phasers, reverbs, delays etc etc.
Check out the M5
If you want tr2....dont get Boss.....its Smd crap now. Get a clone from build your own clone or have mr.lumbar make one for you!!??!?
Diamond Tremolo. It amazing. The various options and the overall creative design and ergonomics are very well though out... and of course it sounds great.
I like my lil’ Moore Trilicopter which sounds fine and is tiny. If I want something crazy I bust out the Strymon Möbius but that’s way over your budget.
