Anybody have one of these? How do you like them?
I don't have one but I have played them . Impressive for the price.
Nice! Look forward to seeing what you think of it.
I love the necks on the VMs, definitely one of my favorites for ease of playing. I just wish it had the small head-stock. Still, man that's one comfy neck for me.
The best part is, I did the 12 payments. $25 a month is just awesome to me. Zzounds has been where I make all of my big purchases because of that. I bought my les paul 2 years ago there as well. Great customer service too.
I already have the small headstock strat covered.
I'm already planning mods. Lol Probably a single spaced humbucker
Don't have one but getting one soon...I hope. I have heard the bridge pickup is fairly overwound so you may not need to replace it. I shop zzounds alot too love the payment plans just bought a OD Glove on payment plan 11.65 a month silly ain't it
Lol I just returned the same pedal. It didn't agree with my Rockerverb 50 at all.
I’ve got one of these coming later in the week. It will be my first Squier. I like the big headstock. I just hope that it lives up to all the good comments I hear about these.
I've had one for a month, sold it to my bro so I can still play it sometimes. Helluva guitar for the price. Mine was perfect, I honestly couldn't find anything wrong with it. The player series was just too tempting
Fabulous guitars ... and not just for the money. Neck and fret ends on mine are glorious and everything works well although the necks are both very thin and very gloss (I much prefer the far chunkier and smoother neck on my Japanese '72 reissue)
The only mods I did were a MIM trem/block, some 'F' style tuners and neck plate (and a silver painted trem access) for the right '70's vibe (and some cosmetic changes to the pickguard, trem tip and headstock for the 'Blackmore' vibe).
Great guitars, I like them better than CV
I have one. It's a pretty nice guitar outta the box. I had to swap out the saddles but other than that she's a real keeper!

Yeah some from new had saddles too wide for the bridge so they wouldn't line up properly.
In my case I sent Fender an e-mail asking where I could find the right saddles for their otherwise excellent instrument and they sent me the full MIM trem unit as replacement for free.
I believe the issue is now sorted on new models.
Yeah in that picture, it looks like it has the bent style fender saddles. Will report back tomorrow.
Yeah it should come as standard with bent steel type saddles stamped Fender Fender but the writing is upside down and the metal quality is poorer than the MIM versions... as you'd expect at the price point.
They don't need changing though unless it's old stock and they're too wide as previously mentioned.
Nice! Looks just like a partscaster a friend of mine let me borrow years ago made from an 80’s MiJ squier body and USA 1970’s 3 bolt maple neck. I love the giant headstock.
I may look into one of these!
Looks awesome have you had a chance to play it? How does the bridge and neck positions sound?
What a beauty! HNGD!
There is something magic about those black starts with maple fb. Squiers VM 70s are real gems for the price.
