I'm looking for a USA deluxe that has a maple neck with the abalone dot inlays and with the push-in tremolo arm (instead of the screw in). What year(s) should I be searching for?

    Thanks in advance.

All American Deluxes have the snap-in tremolo arm; they never had the screw-in arm.

Abalone dots were found on the first 2 generations of American Deluxes - on both maple and rosewood fingerboard models:

Generation 1 (1998-2003) - with Vintage Noiseless pickups
    Generation 2 (2004-2009) - with SCN pickups

I think this info is a bit incomplete. I have a Fender Deluxe neck with black abalone dots, dated 2017 (compound radius). Obviously the black abalone looks different, but abalone it definitely is!

I have a CS deluxe which has all those features, year is 2011.

The abalone dots look great at first sight, but when playing it can be difficult to see them due to the way light gets reflected of the neck, just a minor moan.

I think maybe that's why they changed to black Abalone, like mine. No such problems!

The black dots on American Deluxes and American Elites aren't abalone; they are black pearloid (plastic) material. In 2010 Fender changed from the blue/green abalone dots on American Deluxes to using regular pearloid on the rosewood fingerboards and black pearloid on the maple fingerboard.

Yes; the CS did continue to use the abalone dots on those models. However, the OP was asking about American Deluxes, not CS models. And the use of blue/green abalone dots did end when the 3rd Generation American Deluxes came out in 2010.
