Fanks AL. That's about 6pm Saturday in New York ?
Roger that Roger and you are welcome!
Edit: Alexandra, who went by Alex, was a roommate's friend. She was at college with an unlimited budget, and she always went to places that most of us could only visit once in a while. For whatever reason, her nights often ended at our place. While telling us about her evening, she would carefully take her personal items out of her purse and place them on the coffee table. Then she would hold the purse upside down and dump out a ton of paper, all phone numbers she collected. We heard about the ones she remembered as she sorted through them. Once she finished, she would crumple all of them up in a ball and throw them away.
A is really fun. I think the rhythm threw me a bit in the middle.
And here's D:
D - I wish we used numbers instead of notes.
As far as I'm concerned, the guys who post get to pick how to label them.
Thanks for sharing.
I liked this from the first measures. Restrained and musical as always. Rhythmic lead playing too, which I always love. Cool tone too. What semi-hollow is that? It does have a center block, right?
I'm not even close to being 1st.
I dont know. I hit record and played ....
Yes, Ibanez AS 80, 1990 something...
I always have a hard time with shuffles.
My work here is done.
And now for C:
Here are two more. No stories with these. That's B, then D.
Got a couple done, gonna work on A when I can:
Ths was tough for me to get anything sounding completely new and different... usually something so easy with the blues
@roger@pennyflic I fired this up and then picked up my guitar, got in the right key and then tried to echo some of your phrasing and it was insanely cool. I am still playing way to many quarter and eighth notes and lack so much of your subtlety but playing along behind you trying to catch your riffs on the fly was great fun and full of "tada" moments. Thank you. Maybe some of the other folks want to try it, or perhaps all of you already do it and I am just, and finally getting it. Thank you!
@Brian H Devil went down to Georgia but couldn't come close to keeping up with you... freaking rippin awesome!
