Ugh, I have just been so uninspired to even pickup a guitar lately. I'm glad you guys are all still killing it.

Oh dear, another one I struggled with. It seems that if the toon isnt arranged nicely into groups of 4, I am all at sea (which is great if you are a sailor but not so good if you are a cowboy). sigh, should of stuck with Hotel Californ-eye-a.

Comment: Has anyone else noticed that each week someone different excels cuz... I guess they just click with that vibe. This week my (ten gallon) hat is off to @bolognahead who showed us the cottonpicken-est, chickenplucken-est, rootintootin-est cow poke this side of the mississippi.

Probably only the 4th or 5th time I've picked up a guitar since early December. I don't know. Probably just the cold dark winter blues trying to keep a brother down.

There's no law that says you have to play when you don't feel like it. Don't worry, have a break, it's always there when you feel the need.
Work hard, exercise and be good to your mother, it'll come back.

Hey mate. I have just gone back over this thread and really want to say that your playing was really cool. Dont worry if your enthusiam wanes now and again cuz life gets in the way, but you play really well and the world would lose a good player if you became despondent.

@blasphemoustrat That phrasing swinging did me reminds of James Burton, very cool creative lines, solid beat. The pink paisley guitar has nothing do to this impression. Really like the minor pentatonic vibe with tasty twists and major notes.

It is kind of cool to see you all improvising to this country track and it's really impressive.

@blasphemoustrat Your country blues rockabilly style is exceptional good!

@roger@pennyflic Twangy and tastefully played ,the banjo rolls are pretty sweet.

@bluestringer Melodic and with an old western swing sound .Nicely done. I hope all is well with your father that you had to visit .

@Raimonds Sound like your struggle payed off . Nice and twangy for sure , your lines are quite good against backer .I quite enjoyed it.

I really like this sound. I'm a beginner, so please bear with me. What scale are you playing and which country musician is your inspiration for this?

I wanted to share this cause it's kind of related to what we do here .I came across this on SC and the title caught my eye .Squier Talk Blues Jam #1 , at first I thought they doing their version of the Challenge . So I checked it at Squier-Talk and it was a lot more than that, they did a track collaboration and all I can say is, they rock! Maybe in the future we could do one.

To answer your question, I'm playing in C major pentatonic scale , my inspiration is a tough one but I can say I wanted a classic country vibe when I attempted this.

I did that sort of thing with a challenge track a while ago. It was fun to put together several people's takes.
