It should be there now.
Thanks @Cerb for putting this one up, even with the inconvenience of travel. It was "weird" only in that it really did make me pay attention and think, and I think some of my go at it even works. I do hope you give it a go again soon and give us another one of your backings. Perhaps for a Challenge next time.
Anyhoo, here it is.
I love how you treated this. It's melodic and sweet and your use of the tremolo gave it a surf like vibe while you gave the choruses an almost Irish flavour. Very cool!
I went back and listened, and you are right about the tone. I think that was subliminal, as I have always loved George Harrison's tone on songs like Something. I was really just looking to record with a tone that sounded good to me. His ability to cut through with little licks here and there. Thanks for pointing that out.
But I liked the piercing tone
I felt that you did! I was thanking you for making me take note of what I did without realizing I did it.
@Raimonds - Sweet watery tone and tasty licks. Very cool.
@mjark - Laid back, moody and very easy on the ears. Nicely played.
@knh555 - You settled right in and worked the track from end to end. Well played Sir.
Good stuff all. Ok, here's mine, but it's kinda bland.........
Not bland at all @bluestringer
I'd prefer to call it under stated and a bit melancholy
Thank you sir............
Best you're getting outta me:
Not bland at all. Just like I imagine a vocal melody could have sounded which makes this really cool. All we need is some lyrics and a good voice and we have a real song!
Great playing! To my ear you followed the changes well and there's a really cool energy in your take.
Skip first 3m29s
@Cerb it was an honor jamming over your music
Thank you! It was challenging for sure, but I liked the track! Thanks for posting it!
My daughter just showed me this. Perhaps use as the backing for next week's jam?
so cute....considering spiders terrify me..
And it’s already done n ready for launch on Sunday.
Who knows? Maybe we even talk ‘ol @rickyp into showing up for a jam......
@Dare1 - So moody and mellow. Great background music for a lakeside walk. Very nice indeed.
@Omar - You're there man, you have the touch, and the vibe. If I could offer one bit of advice, I'd say let go, and be less hesitant.
At around the two minute mark you really began to relax and own the track, and it sounds good man, real good.
Relax, and let the music carry you. You got this bro, embrace it
@knh555 - That video is sooooo damn cute. LOL, might make me think twice before I swish the next eight legged critter than invades my home.
Errr, maybe not.
