A 70s custom tele with a big strat headstock ! That's really what was needed...

Thank you to illustrate my point ! Ugly and unnecessary.

    The hybrid? I need it!

But the one in the middle looks like a Burns and when they finally bring something like the Cabronita back, it doesn't have the simple controls of a Tele but those of a Les Paul? And that's even the point of the thing?
The world has gone mad, I say...

Well not to b contrary, but I really realy like the Tele. Big headstocks belong on all Fenders. :)
I like the fact that it has the Jag style tremolo as well and the hardtail option.. Beautiful guitar.
I couldnt tell if it had these or not, but if it had the tummy cut and arm relief contours IMHO it would be the perfect guitar.

In for the Troublemaker Tele with the maple top. That's very close to a definite buy for me, just on sight.

Maybe in for that Thinline Super Deluxe, if they do it in a color other than orange. I'd buy a black one.

The others are mostly hilarious, which I think is the point -- fun guitars to pull out on stage.

That Tele Thinline Super Deluxe has piqued my interest. Spectacular name, too! “TELE THINLINE SUPER DELUXE”

Oh dear, who thought that there's big demand on guitars equiped with Jazzmaster bridge systems? The two last ones look attractive but I didn't care for the rest of the bunch.

That was my thought exactly. Cute but a bit rubbish.

Maybe a little harsh, but fair comment. His guitar isn't much better either.....

Much as I like the JM trem system, it looks wrong on the Tele. Sits too far back on the body.

These are all interesting, and at first glance a couple are even appealing (I'm looking at you, Strat/Jag). These are just mish-mashes of existing Fenders, though. The only thing that could really be considered "new" is the Meteora, and it's a fail as far I'm concerned.

In some ways the new Meteora reminds me of this...
