Nat King Cole~The Christmas Album
Pure genius ....
For tonight's dish washing music it's a Dwight Yoakam CD with Suspicious Minds. I really like how he spins it. It's Elvisish traditional, with a more spare arrangement and enough little differences to make it his own. The likely likelyhoods are that it's Pete Anderson on a Telecaster.
It's a little TOO quiet tonight...
So now hear this!
Man I hope they tour again:
I've been able to see them a couple times. They do much better in Europe (even though they are based out of Colorado). Their last studio album was Yum Yum Tree* in 2009. Ed Wynne (guitar/founder) has been doing other stuff recently.

Pink Floyd - Animals / Dogs (You gotta be crazy)
Saw them in 74, they opened with 'Raving and Drooling' (Sheep) and You Gotta Be Crazy (Dogs), followed by SOYCD.
Only got to hear Animals for the first time, maybe 10 years ago give or take a few. Didn't take long for me to realise I'd heard these 2 before.
Some great guitar, no wonder Dave Gilmour was peeved at these being left off 'Wish you were here' . He put a lot of work into them.
Son visited at the weekend and we had a Floyd hour or two whilst cooking dinner.
^ Ah Animals! My secret favorite Floyd album
Got a mix of my various Otis Rush acquisitions on the playlist right now.
