    Thinking about this Saturday.

Mine is probably Aerosmith, followed (or tied) by Lynyrd, then Ted Nugent, and CCR.

[Insert edit:] I meant play the songs of the bands

Interesting since all the Lynyrd songs came off of four of their five studio albums, Aerosmith off of four albums, Ted of off three albums (is there more?) and CCR probably off of three or four of their albums. Whats even funnier is that I think I only played one Ted song live with the band. But he did have a lot of fun and relatively easy songs on his first three solo albums.

Aerosmith's first four albums are as solid of a block of music as anyone put out to me.

Lynyrd: just all over the place with great stuff. Not a lot of albums from original band, but a ton of great songs.

CCR: just cause it was there, fairly easy, and had a steady beat for the drunks watching us.

Hendrix, Skynrd, Outlaws, Marshall Tucker, Metallica. All played on a loop at some point in my life.

Great music can be played in the background or in your face at full volume.

Is the question how many songs we know by a band or how many we can play by a band? Answers are very different for me.

In no particular order, as I have been obsessive about all of these, Beatles, Stones, Wilco, Pearl Jam, Tom Petty, Drive By Truckers.

I can play piles of that stuff on the guitar, and my Amazon Prime Music App has their entire catalogs downloaded and on constant repeat.

As far as how many songs can I play?

Led Zeppelin. Pretty much the entire first 4 albums, and much of the 5th.

Also Black Sabbath, first two albums front to back.

I spent a lot of time jamming with these albums when I first started playing.

Beatles, cream, led zep, Grateful Dead.

I'm a big stones fan but there are plenty of songs on albums like tattoo you that I've never heard. Anything post some girls really.

I'm a huge Clapton fan too, but albums like no reason to cry and money and cigarettes? Plenty I've never heard or heard once and forgotten.

I'm talking know of, not know how to play.

After 50+ years of playing that is a tough one. I'm going to have to go with a tossup between CCR or Lynyrd Skynyrd.
