I've had this for awhile but could never figure out the origin.

I thought it was a squier standard but the recessed trem cavity throws me off. It appears to be mahogany back with thickness around 1 7/8. The overall weight of the whole guitar is 8 lbs.

    Maybe even verification of wood breed? 20171224_143630.jpg 20171226_181959.jpg 20171226_182120.jpg 20171226_182222.jpg 20171224_144221.jpg Screenshot_20171226-153200.jpg

Need more photos....specifically the neck pocket to upper horn transition, a real Fender/Squier has a little notch....other companies' bodies' usually don't.....

So far I don't think it's Fender/Squier, based on the shape of the routes for the pickups and controls....and that recessed back plate....

Affinity (1.625" thickness) with .25" thick mahogany glued on the back? The numbers add up, but that's not necessarily right.

Is that a recessed back plate, or just a hole in the glued-on back? More pics pls, including headstock and the join between original body and the add-on back. From these pics I can't even see whether the dark wood back is solid wood or ply.
