So I wandered into my local pawn shop and spotted this seafoam green strat for 200 bucks. It's a hardtail and it turns out it's a Tom Delonge that someone tore the invader out of and installed a standard pickup arangement (SSS).

I was just curious as to what kinda neck these things came with.
It just feels right in my hand.
    Is it a "c" "d" or "u" shape?

For $200 you should be posting pics because you should have bought it. No idea about the neck shape.

If it feels right... BUY IT! Worry about what to call the shape later. In fact, call the neck Ishmael. It feels right, right?

This advice is only being given because the guitar no longer has the stock pickup. If it still had it, Mr. Like It Is would be trying to save your eternal soul right now!

No idea what the neck profile is but for 200 bones, I would've been ALL OVER IT.

Call me Tele... And even if it had the acursed HB, at $200 and feels right, you can rip the demons out and put in a set of D. Allens for less than a used MIM!

Excelent my good man! Party one!

Yeah that's true. I think it's a set of mim standard pickups. I hooked it up to a hot rod deville and everything was ONE. Lol

Would you have to reroute it to put in a 3 SC setup? It looks like all it comes with stock is one bridge HB and a volume knob. Seems like if the previous owner switched the pickup configuration, he had to do a little more than just swapping pickguards.

Edit: Nope, it's routed to take a traditional setup.
