That would be pretty much every REM song...
It’s a totally wacky song. But not my favorite of theirs, either.
There is no such word as "Pomputus" so "Pomputus of Love" isn't actually a thing.
Plus, "Taxes" does NOT rhyme with "facts is" which, ALSO ISN'T ACTUALLY A THING.
God I hate Steve Miller with every fiber of my being.
And don't get me started on any part of "A Horse With No Name."
"The heat was hot????!!!" That's really what America sang. "The heat was hot???"
I mean, for the love all that was holy, how freaking high were they???
Especially I Wanna Rock and Roll All Night.
Every time I hear the phrase "rock and roll" in a rock song, I want to gag.
Waitin' on the world to change. You lazy little sods, we changed it and got on with livin'.
Dance, dance, dance, come on and dance, dance, dance...
Dance the night away...
Pretty much any song about dancing.
It's a snotty song.
I have a pen.
I have an apple.
Uhh, apple pen.
I can't name any off the top of my head, but Puddle of Mudd and Nickleback have/had some of the stupidest lyrics I've ever heard. Ones that make me actually angry sometimes.
Well you can dance if you want to. You can leave your friends behind. 'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance, then they're no friends of mine.
No, they're pretty terrible...
But God Gave Rock & Roll to You
What do you-uh mean-uh?
I "liked" your post, just so I could "unlike" it.
I remember spending hours trying to decode the meaning behind "It's The End The World As We Know It" because they mentioned my hero, Lenny Bruce. It took me forever to realize that all the names in the song started with "L" and "B" and were chosen completely at random.
Which, come to think of it, probably would have appealed to Lenny....
Have a Cigar's lyrics are great. Very funny.
The band is just fantastic -- that is really what I think...
There are some great tunes on Little Creatures
Yes there are!
