I work as an electrical engineer, project engineer. I don't really know what I'm doing to be honest! I basically plan and make entertainment systems for theaters/cruise ships/clubs etc etc. It's a fun and sometimes very challenging and demanding job, specially because I am very young and have no type of college degree or formal education on the subject, I just learned it as I went on with it.

Previously, I only really worked as a graphic designer, wasn't for me, I didn't like it mainly because I was forced to make ugly looking things for people because most of them have ****ed up design tastes. Maybe it's better when you work free-lance I have never tried it though.

After a plethora of teen year jobs I settled down as a
    UPS man (17 years).
Grew bored of that 12 years ago and went back to school to become an archaeologist.
For the last 8 years I have served as the diving safety officer/archaeologist for a major underwater archaeology NGO.

I test code that software engineers build/change.

Humans have always lived near the ocean, probably for longer than we've been humans. And the sea level rose by about 180 feet at the end of the last ice age, about 11,000 years ago. Logic dictates that the majority of human artifacts prior to 11,000 years ago are at 0-180 feet underwater.

Probably real tricky to find, though.

I was a web developer for a pretty damn long time for a major bank

now I work in the back end and write server rules for url structures and redirects.

I love what I do. I live a good life but I also work hard for it.

These days I feel I am getting paid back a little for the last two decades of effort.

Since taking on this new role (its been 2 months) I have been able to buy myself a new strandberg without worrying about anything. Its been super nice to get a solid boost in what was already a fulfilling career

    before that..

I had a chain of head shops (3 stores in two cities)

that was a lot of fun, but way more work than reward. I spent way too much time on that project and ended up paying the ultimate price. lost a family over it. I totally understand how that all happened, and I wont be doing that again. Sold off my portion of those shops about 11 years ago. havent looked back since.
