Well it may not qualify as a record store since it’s a local bookshop that has a vinyl and cd section, but I bought 2 Clapton cds (Crossroads and Just One Night) just before Christmas, so let’s say 23 December 2017.
I bought a (very disappointing) John Hiatt vinyl from Amoeba Records in LA in August 2015.

Alison Moyet's "Other" at the end of June last year, from our city centre HMV. I don't often go into town these days but when I do I always wander up there for a poke around and usually come away with something.
Saw her live at Ipswich in November, well worth the trip.

It was probably one of the recent Hendrix releases.
I know I bought the box set at a real music store, and a few after the box but not sure where each came from.

We have a cool used CD store here, The Great Escape, but they only carry used stuff, buy-sell-trade, comic books, LPs, DVDs, etc.
I'll admit that the past couple years have been mostly online for new releases on CD.

My cars have 6-disk CD players and I still prefer actual disks for time being.

I can't remember, but it would have been years ago. I've very rarely bought music on physical media this last few years and when I have it's been a CD from Amazon that I haven't been able to find a lossless download for.

Mine was a Beach Boys album, well two actually as they were short enough to get two on one CD. This would have been in about 2005 or 6, just before our last local record store shut down.

I've bought at least a hundred since then, though, just none in an actual physical shop.

Last week, I found The Cult Pure Cult. I've paid for it and will be able to listen to it for the rest of my life without paying another penny. If I am out with my wife and she goes into to clothes shopping mode, I go and browse the music shop and if something catches my fancy I buy.

Been years since I was in a 'proper' record shop. Does Amazon count nowadays though?

I really can't remember the last CD I bought in a shop (store).

Usually I get everything online, the last ones were Fleetwood Mac Chicago blues sessions from Amazon, some great stuff there.

I still buy CDs online occasionally (my jeep has a cd player so its mostly to have something to listen to while commuting) but I'm having a hard time remembering the last cd that I bought and carried out from an actual store. I think it was Lamb of God's latest cd from a Best Buy store.
The last cd I bought on-line though was Gojira's Magma (excellent album btw).
The last vinyl LP I bought was Quiet Riot's Metal Health just a few weeks ago...found that an an antique store!
