Me going on 19 years where I currently work. I've been an industrial electrician since 1986. Dang, how did I manage to get this old?

I've been at my current employer for 18+ years. I've held many positions over the past 18 years but this is my longest tenure with one employer. Probably the longest at one role here has been about 3-4 years. I hope to retire from my current employer in the next 8-10 years.

Prior to this job I worked for my previous employer for just shy of 8 years.

I've had so many from bus driver to Internet Show in Singapore Conference Host! But the longest was guitar teacher and player - ten years 2002 to 2012. But in the way of guitar forums apparently that gives you no authority to offer any opinion on learning the guitar to other posters!!! Haha!

I was in law enforcement from 1998 to 2008. The only thing as bad as living in an American inner city is working in one every day. Though I miss my old coworkers, I don’t miss the job.

About 35 years as a mechanical engineer in power generation.

I didn't intend to stay there so long, other opportunities came and went along the way, and next thing I knew I was having my retirement presentation :)

No regrets, an interesting job with reasonable pay and got to travel all over the world.

bin at this company for 7 years now. No plans to go anywhere. Pay is good, benefits are good and I like my job. Commute stinks but whatever. This is the longest I've been with a company. Always left a job on good terms.

33+ years at 2 year college. The "employer" changed a few times but the building remained the same. Retired in 2014. Miss my co-workers, some of the students, not so much!

12 1/2 years is the longest I was ever in one job, and even that was a couple different jobs in the same agency. But I had a 30+ year career doing related and most similar things, some public sector, some private, but mostly working FOR the public sector whether I was employed by them or privately and working for them under contract.

going on 11 years with the same company

many different jobs within that company. Started in a call center... got bored, moved to a support role, got bored so I taught myself how to code. moved to a web role after helping with a few different projects, that lasted about 3 years, then I moved to the back end and started maintaining servers, that was a great move... from there I created a few processes in areas that needed clarity,.. now those processes have made many folks days easier and smoother. now I manage one of the processes I had created and have a wicked team of dudes that do what I was doing while I manage their intakes and help them with any issues they may have.

I kinda really enjoy what I do.
