For example, the DigiTech pedal and the 'MIDI Out' jack on the ME-5 would both be used ONLY when I'm ALSO using one of my Effects Racks.

    ...two-tiered arrangement is COOL, too.

Picked up a Boss PS6 Harmonist today and its bumped my chorus pedal out of the chain for now. Loving the Detune setting on this one...very Balance-era Van Halen guitar tone.

Up front: Tuner --> Wylde Wah

Effects Loop: Harmonist --> Digital Delay

LOL.. I know right?...:) The right corner is for whatever amp's pedal I'm using. I'm a minimalist and live I don't like pedals close together. Live.... I'm kinda aminated so you can guess having pedals close together, what might happen..

That is f'ing sweet. I really want to get me one of those boards, but I already have three pedalboards, and one is sitting empty, so a fourth would be...

well never mind. I've gotta get me one those!!!

@sam_in_cali I am so jealous. That amp is just sick!!!! The demo videos you posted were jaw dropping. That thing begs for my 84 Kramer Pacer to be plugged into it and cranked to eleven. It would be like a time machine. Hit an open chord and boom!!! We're back in the 80's.

    ok
Mine looks suspiciously like a bare floor. Wait !! It IS a bare floor. I recommend trying this as it seems to make the 9 volts last forever.

IMG_0491.JPG My humble DIY pedalboard made from spare lumber in the garage. Now I need more/better pedals!

Top shelf left is where the 'magic' (even for a not so skilled copyist as myself) happens. My apologies for being over-enthusiastic, every time I hit that switch it moves me. :D

Hey - someone using the ME-5 multi unit .. :)
I own the BE-5 and still think these are great little things.
If Boss would do a steel housed re-issue I'd buy it asap.
I like every single pedal on this .. the ME-5 has flanging, too ..?

Boss TU2 > Edward the Compressor > Reverend Drivetrain (low gain) > Ibanez SD9 (fuzz/more gain) > Guyatone MD3 delay > Boss CH1 chorus > Teese Joe Walsh wah > Mojo Hand Copperhead boost . All powered quietly and efficiently by a BBE Supacharger.
