I like most guitarists have more then one guitar for more then one reason, and i see alot of players with nice collections round here
But im betting like myself every player has a Number One guitar
So just for fun what is it,and why

Ive been playing a USA Standard Strat i have pretty exclusively lately but my number one will always be a worn in USA Telecaster Standard i have
    Its been played,tuned,dropped,banged,customized and loved
Chuckny soft V neck,Fender locking tuners,Seymour Duncan Vintage Stacks for and aft,and a set of Graphix saddles, its the anchor in my line up
It just fits like an ole pair of work boots

Nice! I can see that. Currently still my LP, but I have a Strat on back order that might just nudge it out of top place, at least for practical purposes.

20 year old American Standard Strat. Wife bought it for me new, play it 90% of the time and closing in on needing it's second refret!

Seriously, my #1 guitar right now is my partscaster Strat - Warmoth ash body (transparent blue), Kinman Traditional Mk-III pickups, Kinman K-9 switching, Fender 2-point trem with pop-in trem bar, Fender Deluxe Plus neck (9.5"-14" compound radius, Fender locking tuners, maple board).

This one is mine. It's so versatile. Seymour Duncan SH-11 (bridge) and Pearly Gates (neck). Coil split on both. DSCF0005.JPG

Well at the moment it’s this as it’s the only electric guitar in the house, it’s my daughters... I had a bit of a gear clear out to raise funds to finish building my house so sold off all my electrics, I kept an old J45. Off to the uk in June and will pick up a couple of new electric guitars while I’m there, the choice both new and used is much better than here in NZ.

My number one is my Gibson 61 reissue SG in ebony. My Strats seem to be getting a lot of playing time lately, though.

I had one of those and wish I hadn't traded it. I'm a big fan of Dirty Fingers, but prefer a gloss finish over the satin on the 70's tribute SG.

I wouldn't say that I have one. I play all of them, but it depends on the song as to which guitar I play. Lately I have been learning a lot of 80's metal solos so I have been playing my LP a lot. Before that I learned Riviera Paradise so I was playing the stratocaster a lot...

1991 G&L ASAT. Sometimes I hate the pickups. Sometimes I love them. Got it new. All of my guitars are good, but today it’s this one.
