Just curious what everyone's opinions are of it. It hasn't really (wait for it.....) struck a chord with me yet:p

To me that little Jazz Bass body makes it look like a cheap knock-off strat copy, but without the pawn shop charm because it's all shiny...

Or a plastic strat body that the bottom got too close to the heat and it melted a little bit lol

First I've seen it, I rather like it. I only like the blue one aesthetically though.

If they came in nitro I’d get one, actually I’ll probably get one and refinish it regardless. I like the blue one only

None of the 2019 series is of interest to me. Honestly, many of us on strat talk could come up with better ideas than what Fender is releasing.

Edit: the 12-string is pretty interesting.

Didn't see or hear anything there that I wanted, at all. And they half managed to make me not like distortion.

I don't mind the looks. I was waiting for some cheap MIM versions of the Alternate Reality models. I'd get one just for the variety it offers, and tbh Ive always though a six string 25.5 Jazz or P bass would be cool, but I wish I could try this before buying though, because it looks to me like it would feel like a Strat, and sound much like an HSS Strat. If it doesn't feel like a Strat, I could imagine it might feel like a Jaguar, with the offset weight balance. I with they would have made it more purely like a Jazz Bass, size size body, similar pickups, etc.

Briefly played one of these today and its a nice guitar! Loved the sound with both tele pickups engaged. Looks good too (it was daphne blue).

I wasn’t a fan of the cleans either, but I’m attributing that to the amp
