Always alone. I don't even know how long I'll be there

Don't want to be rushed. And I have a hard time making up my mind. Usually end up shopping until I walk away. I have taken my son. I have taken my wife. But usually unsuccessfully

I've gone with my brother, who also plays. I find you can get caught up in the moment and maybe not notice something. I like a second set of eyes/ears. It's mine that matter, but like I said, you can get caught up in the moment.

Tough one. Ideally with a musician friend. I’m pretty intimidated on my own, but know that hubby or non-musician friends would be bored.

When I was auditioning bass' a while back I just noodled for as long as I could stand it. I used headphones so I couldn't be heard by the staff and other customers. :whistling: .................. :p

The longer I played the more I realized little niggling things that I'm sure would have come to haunt me. I've yet to buy a guitar from a store. o_O My online guitar purchases have been generally OK. Returned a few but more than half have been keepers.

Alone, because in the past the other person with me usually gets bored, then it's "hurry up" time.

Alone. I once went "purse shopping" (yes, that is a real thing) with my wife once and I can only imagine that eternity is what its like for her if she goes into a music store with me.

When I drink alone I prefer to be by myself...Oops wrong subject

I prefer to shop alone, it's easier to sneak the new purchase into the house.

I like to take the wife out to lunch/cocktails & then go shopping-she’s bought me some pretty nice stuff when she’s buzzed, best was a 52 AVRI tele that “looked pretty” :)
