Which would you rather have? Two really good American made, mid priced or high end strats? Or would you rather have six or more Squiers at any price point?

I was of the camp that two good American ones would be all that I need, but some of the stuff that Squiers has at the 300 to 400 dollar range looks pretty tempting to me, especially the 50's strat in Sherwood Green.

I Don't care about the brand but I do feel that less is more :thumb:
Two will get more love and attention than Six every time .

I have no use for six squier STRATS.

Make it 2 Squier strats, 2 Squier Teles, a Squier Jaguar and a Squier Jazzmaster and I'd be a pretty happy guy.

If it had to be Strats, I'd need to make them all different from each other. 2 each of Rosewood, Pau Ferro, and Maple. One with vintage SSS, one with hotter modern pups, one with lace sensors, one HSH, one with hot rails. Maybe a hardtail strat with tele bridge. Yeah, I'd rather have that than 2 American Strats.

I should probably add that the reason I chose six squires in the poll because two of my American strat would cost about as much as six really nice Squiers.

I have 10 MIA Strats, mostly AVRI, as well as a EC, a EJ and a CS56. I leave the Squiers for the kids.

    I'd rather have the Squiers.

I'd end up with 6 partscasters, no one the same as the other.

Well I already have them, 1 MB & 6 CS & still counting Strats, 3 Ultras, 2 Fullerton AVRI. I’ll stop there. I have more Strats, Tele’s & hey It’s GAS for many, many years!

As it turns out, I have 2 MIA Strats (plus a hollow-body and an acoustic). No need for any more.
I get that some people like to have many guitars- like tools and those guitars serve a valid purpose.
But, I'm not one of those people. I could actually live just fine with one nice Strat.

I only have two American made strats, and no other electric guitars. I would like to see what all the fuss is about with some of the Squiers that cost $400.00 So, when I go to see my son in a couple of weeks, I will visit the guitar Center in his neck of the woods. They have way more inventory than the GC in my town. Maybe they will have more than just Bullets, and Affinitys

I'm quite happy with one very nice Japanese Strat.

I can't see why I would ever need tobown more than one guitar of each type. Unless of course I misplace one and can't find it...
