Actually this is why I don't like to meet radio DJs or voice artists I like. I'm all used to my image of them!
Also why I have waited so long to start stepping up to do a bit of background vocals. My voice sounds normal to me, then I hear it over the PA and cringe.
I've only ever met one guy from a forum, the FDP. He lives here in Indy as well but that was many years ago. I'm meeting a member from here at the Chiefs game tomorrow, he's graciously invited my wife and I to tailgate with his group. Looking forward to it!
I have been told i sound exactly like Morgan Freeman.
Now, that's not really true at all, but perhaps you are reading this, and hearing Morgan Freeman's voice.
I relate the imaginary voice of posters to their Avatar pics mostly.
There was a member here for a short time a while back that had Sponge-Bob as his avatar.
I seriously couldn't read any of his posts without that voice coming through in my head as I read.
Made it very hard to take his posts seriously.
My brother and I give anyone who's being obnoxious or acting like a jerk Gomer Pyle voices when we're quoting them.
I look and sound like Bob Dylan.
Guitar Moron was his name I believe. I cant get his name to pop up. I often wonder what happened to him. Said in my Mr. Krabs voice.
That is it!
Thank you, I couldn't remember his handle.
I already have enough voices in my head without adding you lot!
Clear. Well modulated. "Matter of fact". Confident and not prone to extremes.
You remind me (if that's your pic in the avatar) of a guy I served with in FRG in the military. He has sort of a 'professor's' voice. Not a bad thing at all!
