Well, one is Vanilla colored, one is Mary Kaye, and one is Sunburst, which is a three color so...

I think I'm covered. But maybe not.

why would some one own nothing but strat. possibly They love the style and feel of them. or mabie they are just strange. My self I try and get different types like an Arch top with Humbuckers and a strat with single coils and a acoustic. Mabie I should look into getting a resonator next.

I used to have 3 strats and nothing else . Picked up a Gibson and now I have 2 strats , a 335 and a Lester. My nmber one is the strat though , its just feels at home to me , but its nice being able to have some nice sonic territory covered with different guitars.

I used to have several Strats because I started to really enjoy modding and seeing how different sets of pickups sound in a Strat, etc. and finding what I felt was a perfect Strat for me. But that can be an expensive hobby. I've sold several of those guitars in the past few years and now I'm down to just 2 Strat style guitars: A partscaster I had built a few years ago and a G&L Comanche.

Strats are like women. Women are all female, with the same basic design, but are all different. The biggest difference between strats and women is that when you want to play, a strat never says “no.”

Wow, so nice man! Rarely you will see this configuration on a SG model.
I recently saw Trogly's guitar show and that model is really appealing to me.
Sadly, the model he has is kinda defected and it doesn't sound like it was meant to be.
I guess it's just the electronics in them...
    How is yours?

I have a pair of them and they both sound Great! Takes a little bit to get use to the controls, but they are actually easy to deal with once you understand what's going on. Definitely not set up like a Strat with its 3 pups. You have 3 volumes, a master tone, and a 3way switch.

I have 5 guitars, one Strat. I could see another Strat, maybe the new EJ Thinline. Then maybe a few others if money was no object .But unfortunately it is

I have just one strat, and two teles. But I’d like to have a bunch of either. Let’s see why …
    - I pretty much like the same profiles, so not a neck thing … I like to have RW and maple, yes… that may justify 2 of each (50s and 60s!)
    - I like teles with vintage-sounding SS, and strats with vintage-sounding SSS … again, this might justify having 2 strats and 2 teles, 50s and 60s
    - No special hardware for me
    - My gigs are few and far between and in a pinch, I could use a tele as backup for a strat and vice-versa (yeah, I know, anathema…)
    - I haven’t entered yet the rabbit hole of alternate tunings, so that’s not a valid reason for me to have more guitars.

All in all, I guess that I would like to have a dozen strats and a dozen teles just because they look great and there’s so many wonderful color schemes.

But so far the cons win: gear money is a finite amount, gear space is a finite amount, every additional guitar is more strings to change and maintenance to make, and I do have other gear priorities: archtops, more amps, pedals…

(This is the last family picture I’ve made, 1 year ago, but the herd has evolved quite a bit since: the Epi, the strat and the Super Champ have been replaced, the T-lux got a new cab, some pedals have gone, and some other have arrived ones… sheesh, I guess it’s part of the fun!)
