Anybody here have one of these? I am just about ready to pull the trigger on the rs502t new and looking for some real world input on these guitars.

By specs alone, it seems cool. set neck, mahogany body, maple cap, P90's.....

Not played one but heard very good thing from those that have. As you say good specs for the price as usual for Yamaha. Yamaha quality build. Just be sure that the other specs suit you, like most Yams it has a very flat radius 13.75" It has jumbo frets, but it really looks good.

They're very nice guitars indeed, I've been almost nearly tempted myself..

Pretty cool. Neat feature with the tail piece.

I don't personally, but my friendly neighborhood mom & pop carries them and they tempt me every time I go in. They have some of the best necks out there IMHO.

Did you end up getting one ?

I've played a couple of the P90 models in the past two weeks and I am now GASing bad for one. Love the look and sound of them. I've been toying with putting together a P90 strat but these are so tempting and would probably work out cheaper..

For sure I did, and yes much cheaper. Along with a $60 debate from Yamaha. I did get the 502T. MF if you call them the can price it at $600.

I have to say, the setup out of the box is better than my PRS SE standard that I just received from Sweetwater.

    Good luck with the GAS...
