I'd take Howard's Black Guitar from Wolf Marshall:
Seeing as how do many have dibs on the go to strats, EC, SRV etc...I will take Tom Perry's Ric, or Bob Dylan's Newport folk festival Strat..
Jimmy Page's #1 Les Paul.
Uh. I’ll take Slash’s ‘58. I do like Slash, but the guitar is in the $1mm neighborhood on its own. The first Burst.
Wow, nice one. Does he use it with any regularity? Sorry, don't listen to much slash, Guns 'n' Roses never did it for me.
I want lil wayne's guitar... so I never have to hear him play it again
Neil Young's Old Black
Oof, there weren't any dibs rules but that one would've already been snagged.
Sorry for the duplicate, keep hitting reply instead of edit, I'm new here.
Joe Bonamassa's '59 LP Standard - Principal Skinner
Way to take one for the team, someone gonna fall on the grenade and take Johnny Depp's too? Or Jimmy Buffet's?
This one would do, but I'd rather she keep it. Love that guitar though.
Give us the details! Who's the owner?
He doesn’t tour with it, I know that. I got tickets to this past tour—sat about 15 rows up on Slash’s corner of the stage. He’s fun to watch—was very focused and seemed to be enjoying every minute of being on stage. He’s definitely over-indulgent at times but he’s earned it I suppose. He’s got a great array of axes. The First Burst is a cool story but I think the story of the Second Burst is better. It just sold for about $650k in Nashville. Google it.
For the lazy:
It's worth a look, the thing is absolutely gorgeous.
Ah I guess I had it backwards. Slash’s is Second, Nashville was First. But who’s counting
I'm not so sure, the link isn't specific and the cat that finished them isn't around to say, it just says both were the first of a set of two bursts to ship.
The one in the article has an earlier serial number but that's not really relevant, looks like the "first burst" is a title shared by two Les Pauls.
Joe Walsh's rosewood neck/headstock Strat plus have a sit down chat with the man when I picked it up.
I'll take Clapton's Fool SG from his Cream days, surprised nobody mentioned this one.
