The other would be his '53 Telecaster, but his son Jay has that. It's where it belongs. :)

Not sure who has it now (maybe Dhani?) but George Harrisons rosewood telecaster. Teles are my favourite, massive Beatles fan and such a cool guitar.

Leave it there- it's too heavy to play on a gig!

I'm not reading 7 pages but if the Red Special is still available I'll take it. If it's spoken for I'll take Dave Meniketti's '68 Les Paul. It was originally a gold top.

In for the win: The most recognizable guitar on earth.

The Strat given to Frank Zappa by Jimi Hendrix (now played by Dweezil) - double whammy mojo in that one.

Don't know if anyone has put this one up yet and am too lazy to look through the whole thread but I would have to go with either this one. Especially if it were #11 out of the 25 made. (Which is Chris Treats, BTW)

I am with you on that one. Hardly the most recognizable guitar on earth. EVH Frankenstein tops that easy. And the Black strat, and Lucile, and....

Really? How old are you? Have you ever seen the movie, "Woodstock?" Alvin Lee was frontman for Ten Years After.

From Wikipedia's page on Lee: "Lee was named "the Fastest guitarist in the West", and considered a precursor to shred-style playing that would develop in the 1980s."

Still, I have Strats, Teles, SGs and LPs. Alvin Lee was and is the reason I still want an ES-335.

Eh, I don't know about all that, Ten Years After as a group don't even have the weight of being a household name, let alone the guitarist having the most recognizable guitar in the world.
