@RichardKnows Appreciate it! Hopefully you land a kit. I'm sure they are out there.

I have a 60th anni body OTW and would be interested.

      needs a neck

@EC Strat Did you end up buying the 60th neck and body out of the classifieds here? FWIW, that version didn't have the 54 RI plastic but don't let that stop you if you want it. That was a nice guitar, I considered buying it.

@Stratoblaster yep - but I only got the body. I wanted the original neck but he had already sold it off Wasn’t crazy about the Warmoth he had. Gonna do a build
    • Stratoblaster
@EC Strat funny I actually liked the Warmoth and messaged him on it but it was already sold.

@Stratoblaster Warmoths are definitely great and it had SS but I really think a vintage tint amber maple would pair great with that striking body. VERY tough to find a vintage Tint that doesn’t have vintage small frets and that is American made.

Might have to go down the musikraft / Warmoth route. But with those you’ve got the offset contour heel. Gonna have to be patient with this one.

Or, you could just sell me your 60th anni neck!!

@EC Strat yeah I do think the smart play would have been the original neck. Pretty sure you can still use Warmoth Vintage or Vintage Modern. I don’t think their Modern construction works because the side adjust interferes with the offset hole.

@Stratoblaster what were they thinking with that???

I found an open box American Pro II neck that’s tinted - they have the heel contour - looks great but it has those dang vintage tall frets. I played a pro II today and the the V mods II’s were definitely an upgrade to the originals (I still wouldn’t run them in one of my guitars though) and I didn’t mind the frets as much as I though I would but there was a definite difference bt them and medium jumbos when moving up max down the neck. The thin things really dig into your fingers over time.

And I have to buy a new tremolo system too. Been eyeing an ultra or pro trem - want the pop on arm.
