familiarity says BbB, but truthfully, I never got big into Al DiMeola - in fact just last night we listened to a Return to Forever set during dinner because i had never really paid close attention to them and wanted to hear what they were all about one night in 1977.

I learned of them both around the same time a couple years ago. So my brain has them both classified as “70s fusion guitar”. Di Meola probably a bit further down the fusion spectrum than Beck, though. “Lady of Rome” is such a nice tune.

well the hours i spent on the equation in high school times the what i remember of it, divided by how much it's helped me in life pretty much is worse than zero, so maybe youre ahead of the game!
