OK, I finally broke down and ordered a Vintage White Thinline. I had to sell some gear to swing it, but I'm pretty excited.
I had read where it was California law that prompted Martin to eliminate "made in USA".
The best stuff that I've found is called "Guitar Scratch Remover". But good luck with that black finish, I've never had any.
I ask because I don't see where it says "made in USA" on the guitar. I'm not doubting that they are, I just thought that it was unusual.
