yes, you have to at metal shows . I saw the band america last month and their show even hit 93 DB

very good point , ..ive been wearing ear plugs to shows for years , i even have a Db meter on my phone, and it hit 109 alot and was hitting 115 at points ...it would be crazy not to have plugs in

What you said is true , i was less then 12 inches from his guitar at times , The 15 year old me would never have believed i saw his 2 hour show 3 feet away ...what really made me sad was there was only about 90 people at the show and everyone was over 50 ....I think what we all loved in the mid...

Tickets were only 55 bucks , and only 90 people in the audiance , and basically everyone had 1st row .

The sad part was , it was held in a small venue ,with only 90 people showing up . It made me feel old ..most people there were between 50 and 65

I always thought wide nuts "1.69" with wide string spacing were the way to go ...UNTIL i just fell in love with my new custom shop with a thin .79-.81 neck with 1.65 and slightly tighter string spacing Here is what changed ...in the cowboy chord area, now when changing from 1 chord to another...
