Also you'll have to excuse the butchering of the url, the forum wouldn't allow me to post it hyperlinked.

Hey pookie613, I saw that you were educated with the Ibanez 3PS1SC5, which is also the Cortek 2502N. I have a double-humbucker guitar with a tone knob and a volume knob and I've been looking all over for a diagram. I finally found one, but I don't know what the red and green dots mean.

Hi, I read your writeup on your Cylon strat, which has been a great help in building my own, and has kept me going when it hasn't gone to plan (fender trem post threads not matching hole threads, neck bolt holes too narrow for standard fender screws to go through, .
I have a couple of questions for you:
1/ how did you mount the strap buttons? Drill and tap? (is the body skin even thick enough?) Self tapping screws maybe?
2/ would you happen to know the tread sizes for the tensioning screws that hold the plate that the tremolo springs attach to (I'm sure there is an easier way of describing that).
3/ I'm thinking of drilling out the neck bolt holes to take the standard fender start screws, what do you think? The heal where the neck attaches looks like a solid lump of aluminium.
Thanks for any pointers you can give me.
