Thanks for the heads up about your new music posting site The thing about UG, though, is that you cannot unregister from it (which I always thought was odd). So you've got that profile forever (well, as long as UG is around). You can just leave it 'empty' and not post any music or log on...same as not having it at all I guess.
When I move, I'm actually going to be moving in with my boyfriend. He's got a 'guitar room' ready for me (that alone is just awesome). Anyway, I'll be checking out your tunes very soon!
Hi Randy! I would LOVE to get a Tele someday...but since I have 4 electric guitars, I can't justify another one right now...haha. However, whenever I do make the decision to get a Tele, I think I'll get a Squier CV one (like yours) as they look and sound pretty great!
As for Ultimate Guitar - as far as I know there's no limit in terms of song length or number. I know some people on there that have upwards of 300 songs uploaded on their pages. The only requirement is that the song must be in MP3 format. U.G. is kind of a social networking site as well as a music site. When I joined 3 years ago, I was much more active on it (and I used it for the social networking purposes and made some good friends on there). However, I use it only for uploading songs these days.
Yeah, the song player on Myspace doesn't always work correctly. Many moons ago I had a profile on Myspace but I got sick of it so I deleted my account there. I don't blame you for wanting to put your music elsewhere. Aside from the 'social networking' aspect of U.G., I think it is a good place to upload music there. I requested you to be on my friends list there! See you around!
