Whatever they do, I would like to see some 59-62 strats(or.more authentic 62 series, like they did 56 and 59.
But knowing fender, they will offer some stupid compound radius 7.25-9.5 or something, other way of painting bodies etc...

Looks like any other harder relic CS out there.
They are now making everyone's old guitar put a "signature" add "iconic" to it and sell it for a bit higher price than regular cs or masterbuilt.
Spruce, ebony and cypress...it only matters on classical/flamenco guitars.
On electric...only what I heard that they were made of..alder, ash, mahogany....even though I wouldn't tell any difference in tone, maybe only in how the grain looks...on sunbursts.
If it's tiny block like MIM's before 2006 upgrade, then it brings more weight to the guitar.And it might improve sustain a bit. On the other hand, it might not. Changing full size zinc with brass, won't make any bigger difference on electric guitar.
