So... it happened. As I'm sure everybody knew it would. The remaining plate-load resistors went bad. I replaced them. Smooth sailing? Dec 11, 2021

Done. Replaced the plate-load resistors for the phase inverter tube in my HRD IV. Wonder how long she goes without needing more surgery...

D'oh!!!! I'm back at it...I have to go BACK in and replace the plate load resistors in my HRD IV...I sincerely hope this resolves my issue.

Last but not least, had to replace the Power-Amp In jack on my HRD IV - it broke into pieces upon removal. Effects loop works, again!

Went back in my amp, replaced power resistors and diodes that supply channel switching signals. Better than new! Reliability and longevity.

My Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV...I fixed it! Replaced the power supply filter capacitors and she's good as new! Now...it's time to jam, proper.

My tube amp died yesterday...I'm holding a vigil. Ordered new caps, resistors and diodes. Preparing to perform surgery upon arrival...

Used a rubber jar grip to push down and twist the T47 bulb into the pilot light socket in my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV...Eureka!

I was able to keep a hold on the Dunlop Maxi-Grip Jazz III I used yesterday better than the Gator Grip Jazz III I recently switched to!
      1. Tone Deaf likes this.

Bought a Fender Mustang Micro headphone amp. Suits me better than the BOSS Pocket GT processor...MUCH better. Smaller size and less clutter!

Just switched to Gator Grip Jazz III from Maxi-Grip Jazz III. For years, I've had problems getting a grip on my picks - problem solved!!

Just replaced the few years old 12AX7 pre-amp tubes in my Hot Rod Deluxe IV with new ECC83s. Sounds like it should! Proper.

Bought a Fender Mustang GTX100. Nice amp. It has a myriad of capabilities; however, I can still hear the difference between it and tubes.
