One of my favourite Hendrix's song. I used my 1992 Japanese ExTrad Stratocaster with a 1967 Super Reverb Amp and a 2021 Marshall 1987x.
I hope you like it.
According to Fender Europe the American Original Series is discontinued. I still see the guitar on Fender site, but a friend of mine asked a replacement neck for his American Original Stratocaster (still under warranty) and Customer Service answered that there are no more American Original neck...
Hi, today it's the birthday of Hank Marvin and I want to share with you this article I made about its Stratocasters and the Hank's signatures made by Fender and Squier. His first guitar was the first Stratocaster imported in the UK.

Hi, today is the brithday of Yngwie Malmsteen. Some love him, others hate him, but he certainly was a very important player for Fender. In this article I have collected some information about his Play Loud and his Signatures, American and Japanese.
Fuzzfaced: Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster history
Fender Japan unveiled last month the new MIJ Limited Edition Final XIV Fantasy Stratocaster. I don't play that game and I usually like vintage style models, but I like this guitar very much.
Hi, I continued to collect specs and pictures of the Stratocasters made from 1954 until 2020. I updated it with Japanese Strats intended for domestic market.
Obiouvsly some guitars are not included: One-Offs, Custom Order, Art Guitars, Prestige Collection and Dealer Select. Few FSRs and...
Today, for the brithday of mr. Slow Hand, I would like to share with you this article on Eric Clapton and the birth of his signature models. I hope you like it. I would also like to thank @Baelzebub who helped me with the translation...
Hi, usually Japanese Extrad Stratocasters had the Extrad logo on the back of the headstock. Is it possible that some Extrad models had the "Custom Edition" logo? I also found some guitars without any logo, but with the Extrad certificate of authenticity.
Hi, I am reading old Twang catalogs and Japanese Domestic Stratocasters specs. I noticed that ST62-53 (or ST57-53 and ST54-53) had Japanese Alnico Pickups with staggered poles, called ST-Vintage. But in 1994 and 1995 catalogs these strats were were equipped with ST-single pickups (made in Japan...
I wrote this article about the these guitars. I hope you like it (and I hope that the translation in English is good).

Hello, I know that the 25th Anniversary Stratocaster has got the Sperzel non locking tuning machines.
But I have also seen many with the Schaller. Anyone knows why? Maybe a switch in the production?
Just a video of a gathering of Stratocaster’s fans, absolutely free of charge, which took place on September 25th in Tortona, Italy, at the Guitar Centre. We exposed Stratocasters made between 1954 and 1966, including sunbursts and custom colors. The musicians played the instruments, compared...
Hi, this is one of my favourite Hendrix's song and I wanted to learn the guitar part. I work a lot and I haven't got much time to play and it took me a long time to learn it... I hope you like it!
Hello, I have seen some models of The Strat (built from 1980-1983), but I have found on these guitars two kind of neck plates: one with only the "F" engraving, the other with "Fender".
Does anyone know which is the original neck plate of this guitar... Maybe they have been used both?
Thank you!
