4. would be my choice. Y2K MIA Strats were 4th Gen , had better body contours, Delta-tone system electronics. It's approx 10 years newer than 1. or 2. And is the least expensive of the lot.
Changing the white guard to mint or parchment and plastic ware to parch or something more vintage will...
Pieces, PIECES of wood. Plural, MULTIPLE. One piece Fender bodies are, and historically have been, extremely rare. As one member put it: One piece bodies are as rare as hen's teeth.
That's a tough choice. They all look great. But I don't favor 3-tone sunburst and I do favor rosewood necks. So I'd probably take the blonde one. If your preference is the maple neck, the choice is easy.
The Deluxe Power Strat has 500K volume control, 250K tone, and a Fishman bridge. Your other T-M equiped Strats probably had 250K volume control , no humbucker, and no Fishman bridge. Apples and oranges.
Both.....I have Schaller locking tuners on 2 of my Strats , and Gotohs on the other. All 3 guitars came factory equiped with the locking tuners, and all have great tuning stability and no tuner "creep" when bending or using the trem.
Agreed...that might be a "close shave" if doing a full dive with the trem. Not much room for a pull up either...the trem must be decked. I like the Am Std trem blocks...there is so much room in the cavity, if the springs creak there's an echo.
