You have to take mount spacing into consideration first. String spacing can be anything and is universal.

The hump would be so small that a minor fret level will iron that out.. unless you have 3 creditcard shimmed, but nobody has that kind of shim.

I use empty D'Addario string packages and make shims of those. Perfect thickness between business card and regular paper

Started out on maple necks.. but once i got a Rosewood with SS.. Dayum.. Bends and vibratos are just smooth and easy since the lacquer on maple boards have a little friction on my fingers.
