I tried a Deluxe Tonemaster for 3-4 months, did not like the extreme reverb or the tinny sound ... I know some love them and swear by them, but to my ear it wasn't really a tube amp replacement. I know this is highly subjective, though.

it’s just my opinion, but I just can’t imagine the market improving ... they pump out so many guitars and considering the lack of scarcity of maple, alder, ash (I.e., not rosewood, ebony, other dark tropical woods), the world is awash in Strats, Teles, etc. How they sell them all is a mystery to...
