    got the Rustoleum spray-paint. chomping at the bit.

    oh and when i finished buffing it the paint was warm and soft so leave it cool down for a while good luck::::

    i didnt straight away, then read that the paint wouldn't harden enough,, so i got on with strat no 2,, hung the guitar up in my kitchen for a few weeks then went back to it ,wet sanded it and buffed it up,, just go for it that's what i did ,i read as many comment as i possibly could before...

    **** hot))))) go for it son, i sprayed my home build strat with the same paint, but yellow and that was a few month ago ,its harden up pretty good

    Finishing neck first or fret it

    thanks bill for the slide show very detailed ,i think i will do it like that ,that way you dont have to wet sand inbetween the frets ,im sure fender got their reasons for doing it the other way around maybe because they can spray a perfect finish and just buff the neck after cheers simon.
