Marshall has a good range of cheap cabinets. I just bought a marshall MX412A 240W for $800 NZD ($455 USD) which wasn't too bank-breaking considering the power in that thing. Or you could go with the 2x12 equivalent which would knock a bit off the price. I'm a sucker for high volume though so...
I've had a look online and found a couple of em for cheap ($370-$500 USD) so I could be investing in one of them if they're as good as you say :) what sorta tones do you get out of em?
I'd love an SV20... but I forgot to mention I meant $1,000 NZD as I'm from New Zealand... (equivalent to around $570 USD) so for me, an SV20 isn't a few extra bucks away, it's nearly double my price range. Great suggestion though, the SV20s are unbelievable with a strat.
