I had an HX Stomp years ago, but wanted to try other options. Since then I have tried the Plethora X5, GT 1000 Core, and HR Gigboard. They all have there pros and cons, but I think I prefer the HX Stomp better, so I picked one up for 15% off at GC. They had a LE Blue one, so I got that one.

Some things that I have noticed since I decked and blocked my bridge are...
I seem to get noticeably more sustain.
Chords seem to not be slightly out of tune if I fret too hard.
Less rattle/buzz when I strum harder.
Overall tone seems more focused and fuller.

I found these shims at the hardware store that you can snap to the length you want...
So I was able to make one that would fit tight enough that I had to jam it in there with my thumbs...

Just curious as to how many people that never use their trem flush the bridge to the body or not, and why/why not.
I had the HX Stomp for a while and wanted to see if there was a multi effects pedal that I would like better. I ordered a Plethora X5, and it sounded ok, but I had trouble with the bluetooth and the software just seemed a little harder to navigate, so I sent it back and got the Boss GT-1000...
I got the Boss GT-1000 Core, and set up a basic preset. I don't know squat about setting up pedals, so is there a certain order pedals should be placed in the chain?
