Well, .010"* at the 8th for the neck, and the strings 4/64"*(1/16th) at the 17th. That's the numbers for a properly performing neck, right? Pickups down, away from the strings so you aren't mashing the thick ones into them. If you still got the rattling and jangling, lift the strings all...
Yeah but the amp works on what you and your guitar and your pedals send it. Everybody is working together. Send it wimpy, milquetoast "attack" and that's what you'll get out of it. Get in there and mix it up with all of them, the guitar, the pedals, and the amp, and you'll give that amp...
My usual advise that is mostly not appreciated: Lift yer strings. If you maul the thing like I do you can't afford strings that are even a little too low, once you start showing off your incredible finesse techniques. Not. lolz
Higher strings will also make you a better player. I'm 63...
I, and quite a few other states, have been doing this for at least two years now, so the regulations/forms are in, have been. It is a 1099K. Income. Like what you get from PayPal or any other gig economy "job". It isn't about your online sales in any way, it is just income. The average...
I think what you are missing is that it is a simple 1099 reported as income, how you got that income is a consequence of how you report and do your taxes. If you are like almost all of the people being 1099'd by Reverb, you will be reporting additional income and depending on your pre-Reverb...
It isn't a private sale of goods, it is income. It is the same as any other 1099. You must assume that since you got one the government did. You are obligated to report it, and if you are in the 90% of people selling a few things on reverb you don't itemize and you certainly aren't a...
Well yeah sure. For me, couple years after I started I pretty much had that worked out until master volumes and such happened, so early 70's. All we had was volume!

They sell everything to anybody on the internet. Guitars haven't been the things that only guitar players buy for a very long time now. Has a lot to do with it.
rct
Yes, you certainly are right and I don't know jack about amp circuitry.
But I do know that in a room full of guitar players "microphonic" is not the caps in the guitar. So at best, the lead is misleading, or at worst I are dumb.
rct
"Microphonic" means something. This is not it. Pickups are microphonic, things that vibrate sympathetically with speakers are microphonic. Not this.

Thank you. The pickup in the 70th is just dope. I've had my few Esquires in this life, this 70th is the absolute best, better than the 54ish I used for a glorious couple of months in 71/72.

I've found the standard Cry Baby to take up too much space on the board. The Crybaby Mini to be too small, doesn't sit under your foot right and if you miss place your foot it can go badly.
CryBaby Jr, perfect. Fits board well, fits foot well, takes up less space, and get this: it has a...
