Many years ago I made a body from an old sapele door. Got me a neck from a Strat copy. Great neck. 23 years later it’s getting a bit worn. 22 frets, no overhang. All tge questions I was going to ask are here. May be looking at an (eventual) re-fret. Thanks guys.

Last night for a rehearsal I went with my 2006 MIA Strat, standard or series, I can’t remember...
If the strings don't actually touch the board I would imagine it will also mean that statements like 'I prefer rosewood, maple, pau, ebony, Weetabix' will no longer be heard.
