The CV's are 'mid range' guitars with (often) much higher end feel/vibe. The factory pups are VERY good IMO. Those SD pups are also very good....
My Sweetwater rep is a bass player but I don't hold that against him. :p
FWIW, I've purchased 3 Bullets from online vendors. The first one I received was/is fantastic, the second was a stinking dog, and the third was...
Affinity has a (super) narrow nut width and the Bullet has a regular(ish) width nut. This might be the biggest difference....

This finish type is not uncommon on guitars. PRS, Gibson, Fender .......... all have made em like this at one time or another.

From the first pic you can clearly see the allen key is wedged in the counter-clockwise direction.
