You have cleverly avoided the word "Relic" ;)
That pickguard reminds of an Antigua pickguard. Might be an option to :p
I measured from the strings. I will try to repeat the experiment next weekend and take pictures. See if I can post it on YouTube
No, I changed the pickguard by putting a capo on the first fret, loosening the strings and unbolting the neck. So same strings before and after....
Never rated positively so it can't be overrated. Overpriced it was.
@Lonn I don't mind you having a different opinion or experience and expressing them for us to discuss. That is what forums are for. I do mind...
Will try that.
Well, it appears you haven't read the post in it's entirety. I went in sceptical but curious. I've tried to do it as controlled as possible and I...
I think three springs on the end of their stretch are more stable and consistent than 5 barely breaking a sweat and have lots of play left. But...
Beautiful guitar. However, mine has a maple neck and I'm not sure mint green works with maple. Most of the colours I like work better with...
Maybe isolating the pickguard from ground with electrical tape between pots, switch and such? I don't know how that would work but please let me...

Very specific . Thanks
I'm going to remove the gold anodised pickguard because of the perceived tone loss (described in a thread in tech-talk). I love the look of this...
I've started a thread on this on this on TGP but I thought I would inform you over here as well. I have an ESP 400 series strat from around '84....
The P90s pickups are the best P90s Gibson makes. Really ballsy but with a really nice "true single coil" clarity and top end. Not very popular...
I missed this while researching this. Thanks.
The bridge plate with the pivot point behind the screws is the original ESP plate. The other one is the plate I got second hand because of the...
Well, no opinions. Which is a rare thing here. I have tried both bridge plates and this is what I found . The top plate. With the pivot point...
I was replacing/upgrading the tremolo block on my guitar and I noticed that there was a difference between the pivot points of the two bridge...
Sorry. I couldn't resist. I'm out. Greets
