You're right. I just checked and mine came with .011-.052 strings. I had changed them out to 9s right away and forgot what it came with.
You are absolutely correct. The mod shop is very limited.
You’d need to recut the nut for 12s. You’ll want to run a wound string through the slots for 11s or even 10s.

Mine is White Royale which is kind of a metallic or pearl paint with gold metal flake binding. Only gold hardware will work with that. [ATTACH]
