We're all getting older and more infirm by the day, aren't we?
You guys take care of yourselves! :thumb:
Here's to wives and girlfriends...
May they never meet!
Appropriate with any alcoholic beverage. ;)
I'm a guitar sniffer.
The wax I use on my guitars smells like bubble gum! :D
I can't be much of a "cork sniffer" - I'm sure I've ruined the value...
Some time ago I was watching a show about unusual musical instruments and I recall seeing a guitar that was built using a device similar to this....
I imagine the website was getting to large or something. Many service diagrams that used to be there have been removed.
Talk about seeing the bright side of a bad situation...
Rock on, brother!
We are very fortunate in that The Wrecking Crew (Sammy and Bella) aren't the least interested in anything other than their food.
Yes, the Gretsch. I had included a photo, but I'm not seeing it. Don't know what's up with that. o_O
As you said, it seemed to be lacking in quality.
I gave mine away. I just couldn't bond with it.
Out of that list, I much prefer the 57/62's. I have them in two of my Strats. I have Custom Shop 69's in another Strat and like them a lot, too,...
I had a Gretsch 5622T-CB, not exactly the same, but still an electromatic. The hardware on my Emperor Swingster is much better than what was on my...

I would get a candy apple red rosewood tele to match my candy apple red rosewood strat!
Or, now that I have an all black Strat, perhaps an all...
In the thread "Who's your favorite living guitarist" I posted about a friend of mine....
Fantastic looking guitar. Congratulations!
I recommend 11s as well. While this is a hollow body, it is a thin hollow body. The thicker strings...
The TBX is definitely missing. As @Guitarmageddon said, all the good stuff has been replaced with very inexpensive stuff.
They are indeed the same. I really like the trapeze on the Joe Pass. If the guitars weren’t so similar I’d have one of each for sure. :thumb:
Mine is White Royale which is kind of a metallic or pearl paint with gold metal flake binding. Only gold hardware will work with that.
