Amazingly enough I have found that my Japanese made Ibanez guitars from the late 90’s with double locking lo pro tremolos stay in tune for ever....
I always find that my compressor makes my sound warmer er....and tone and volume knobs are your friend

I’d say go with a Fender CS and any reissue amp. I like the Princeton reverb but you could go up in watts from there.
