If I was in SOT, I'd snatch that up. Even be worth a trip from Cardiff, if cousin Dafydd's Austin is up to the drive.

That's so badly done it almost looks like camo....hide your guitar in the bushes so nobody steals it....

Also it's a total phony, not a Fender product at all...neck heel is D shaped not V shaped as on Fender products....

As bad as any I have seen. To be fair he doesn't say it's a Fender anywhere in the add just left the fake logo on.

Yes, it does say it's "unbranded".

It looks like at Nash relic. I love the way Bill Nash's guitars play, and some of his closet classic or very light relic guitars look natural but his heavier relics look more like this guitar does. Not completely, but close.

Bill Nash builds his own guitars, I don't think he would put a fender decal on any of his head stocks.

no...that's not what I meant. I should have been more precise. I meant it looks like some of his super heavy relic jobs...not that it is a Nash guitar. Overdone and tacky. But they play like butter. Not realistic, but they sure are great guitars. For example:

Yeah, I thought of a Chick Fil A ad...

Tip for those thinking of trying this for yourselves... If ya have no eye for art... fuggidabout it.. it will eventually be posted here and we'll all be crackin' jokes at it... so save the embarrassment,...

and... if you have no concept of normal wear patterns, fuggidaboutit again.... same reason..

    thats just a plain shame..

That one does look like my cousin DelRey's, that got left in the seat of his Nash, that caught the yard on fire.

Yeah, that guitar reminds me of my "Halloween" strat I made. I stated out to sand down whole body and refinish, but I got a wild hair to go another way. Sounded good at the time, but maybe not one of my best ideas when I was finished. Funny though, I have had offers to buy it. It will probably get sanded down and refinished this spring

Hehehe He didn't even cut the original contour body part off the end of the decal. Shameful.
